i cant quite understand what it is your asking :) You want to know how to find the value of say, a price, after subtracting some percent right?

suppose you have to subtract 30% from 120 First you find 30% of 120 as follows: 30 3600 ----- x 120 = ------ = 36 100 100 Second step involves subtracting 36 from the given number 120 120 - 36 = 84 this is how it is done... Clear now???????
