In the solar system you use AU's (D.) A light year is WAY too big for the solar system!!! An Astronomical unit (AU) is the mean distance from the earth to the sun.

sorry. A. light years is wrong answer. We use astronomical unit (it is the average distance between sun and earth) in solar system.
