Why do the planets closest to the sun move faster than planets that are further away? A. size B. solar heat C. solar winds D. gravity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. gravity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. gravity,..we know that garvitational force is depends on the radius or the distance between planets and the sun,,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. Gravity... The planet must be faster enough to maintain it's orbit.. so that,, it would not be pulled by the gravitational force of the sun..

OpenStudy (matthewrlee):

Because it too hot to stay in one place for very long. Gotta move fast when you're that close to the sun.
