OpenStudy (anonymous):

would you mind showing me please how you worked out yours because when i did it i came up with 42.1 and when Vinit did it he got 3.35 so am lost

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i.e 1/4 +2/5 =13/20 then 20*12/13 -4 {240/13} -4 then 240-52 whole divided by 13 then the ans is 14.46

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whole means i mean to sy 1/4 +2/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks guys i am grateful for your help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look 12/((1/4+(2/5)-(2^2))= 12/((1*5+2*4-(2^2)*20)/20)= 12/((5+8-80)/20)= 12/(-67/20)= 12/(-3.35)= -3.5820
