hey i don't know if newton's laws r physics but i hav a question bout newton's 3rd law that i can't get the answer to, here it is: A 500 N student (approximately 110 pounds) is sitting on a chair. What is the force the chair is applying to the student?

500 Newtons. Because the student is exerting 500 N of force on the chair, the chair must exert an equal and opposite force on the student (assuming there are no other forces).
