suppose the greens pay P percent of their money to the school district. What does that mean?
they paid part of it right
It means that out of every 100 dollars, they pay P dollars towards the schools.
so if they paid 140 dollars out of a total of 676 dollars, what percentage of 676 is 140?
they paid 14%
