influences and recommendations? Really? Surely only your history of academic success (marks) (and having enough money to go) would count? I'm just expressing my surprise, not answering lucasmaia, as I have clearly no idea how American universities work. Sounds corrupt... yet they have this marvellous OCW. Doesn't match.
