y-6 3 ----- = ---- y-9 y-9

I got that there was no solution is that correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would just write \[y-6=3\] so \[y=9\] but that is out because you cannot put a 9 in the denominator!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you are right, no solution
