(2x-y)^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2x+4z)^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using the identity (A + B)^3 = A^3 + B^3 + 3A^2B + 3AB^2, U GET (2x+4z)^3 = (2x)^3 + (4z)^3 +3(2x)^2(4z) + 3(2x)(4z)^2 = 8x^3 + 64z^3 + 3(4x^2)(4z) + 3(2x)(16z^2) = 8x^3 + 64z^3 + 48x^2z + 96xz^2 I made a slight mistake in the first one so i am correcting and sending it after this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using the identity (A - B)^3 = A^3 - B^3 -3A^2B + 3AB^2, U GET (2x-y)^3 = (2x)^3 - (y)^3 -3(2x)^2(y) + 3(2x)(y)^2 = 8x^3 - y^3 - 3(4x^2)(y) + 3(2x)(y^2) = 8x^3 - y^3 - 12x^2y + 6xy^2
