Find the LCM of z^2+6z+9 and z^2+z-6 Use Factored form PLEASE HELP with a good answer...

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

Do you know how to factor those polynomial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO That is why I asking for help!!!!

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

ok, find the roots of the polyonmials. Say they are \(x_0\) and \(x_1\). Then you can factorize them as \((x-x_0)(x-x_1)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So that is the answer to them the nowhereman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one factors as (z+3)(z+3) second one factors as (z-2)(z+3) so LCM = (z-2)(z+3)(z+3) do you need to give LCM as a polynomial ????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do not think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if yes then it is z^3 + 4z^2 - 3z - 18
