The problem was to find the sine of angle x of points (-2, 1). I gave the answer of sine x = 1/square root of 5. The required answer was square root of 5/5. what is the reason to not leave a square root in the denominator?

because some annoying math teacher said so. so called "simplest radical form" requires no roots in the denominator
