Jack usually mows his lawn in 3 hours. Marilyn can mow the same yard in 4 hours. How much time would it take fir them to mow the lawn together?

3.5 hours. Half of 3 is 1.5 Half of 4 is 2. 2 + 1.5 = 3.5 If they split it in half of course.
