wayne's woodworking shop makes bookcases. wayne estimates that the initial cost to set upthe aseembly line for producing a bookcase is $1500 and the cost of materials for each bookcase is $75. the selling price of a bookcase is $125. how many bookcases does wayne have to produce before he begins to make a profit.

This answer is incorrect. let x be the number of bookcases he sells. Since he is spending $75 to make a bookcase but making $125 on each one the equation is -1500 + x(125-75) = 0 . Solve for x and you get 30
but how do we get -1500
