72+(-72)+8y=0(-72)
ii)Divide the right side by 8 (also the left side too) to isolate the y
(8y)/8=(-72)/8

iii)On the left, the "8s" canel out,on the right, the -72 is divided by 8 giving you your answer
y=-9
