2. A water canal has a rectangular cross section 4 meters wide and 3 meters deep. How much water is contained in a 20 meter length of the canal? How much water will be held after 40% has evaporated?

- in a 20 m length of the canal will be 4x3x20=240 m*3 water - 240 x 0,40 =96 m*3 has evaporated so hence will be held 240-96=144 m*3
