what do you mean, solve a venn diagram? Usually you write down a set of equations describing what you know and then try to calculate the result. I guess you want to solve some specific problem, so please specifiy :)

in a survey involbing 800 employees, it was found that:
485 save with Banco de Oro
550 save with Metrobank
540 save with BPI
255 save with Banco de Oro and Metorbank
270 save with Banco de Oro and BPI
325 save with Metrobank and BPI

all employees save with at least one of these banks

Using Venn Diagram , find the number of employees who save with:

all 3 banks
Banco de Oro but not BPI
Metrobank but not Banco de Oro
BPI but not Metrobank
Banco de Oro or BPI but not Metrobank
Banco de Oro but not Metrobank or BPI

If you write down all that you know, you get 7 equations with 7 variables. I attached a picture of the Venn diagram and equations....after you solve the system of equations(either manually or using a tool like this: http://wims.unice.fr/wims/wims.cgi ) you know all that you need. Drawing a picture(the venn diagram) helps a lot :)



Here are the answers:

all 3 banks: 75

BdO but not BPI: 215

BPI but not Metrobank: 215

BdO or BPI but not Metrobank: 250
