A crate filled with oranges weighs 10 pounds The track team ate two-fifths of the oranges. The remaining oranges and crate together weighed 7 pounds. Find the weight of the empty crate..... but could you describe how I would draw it if I was figuring it out. Pleasee help

Ok so what you know is that 2/5 of the oranges weight is 3lbs. so to find the weight of just the oranges, 1/5 of the weight would equal 1.5lbs multiplying the 1/5 weight by 5 would get you to 5/5 of the weight = 7.5lbs since the box+oranges=10lbs , and the oranges weigh 7.5lbs the box must way 2.5lbs, i.e. 10-7.5 = box's weight.
