equation of a line with slope -1/4 and through (-5,2) is: \[y-2=-1/4(x-(-5))\] \[y=(-1/4)x -(5/4)+2\] \[y=(-1/4)x-1/4\]

ooops made an error on the last line...should be \[y=(-1/4)x+3/4\]
