Identify the zeros of the function: y=(x-7)(x+13)

OpenStudy (angela210793):

for the same reasons i wrote in the previous q x=7 or x=-13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Come on man you've asked the same question with different numbers like 10 times :P. Don't you understand it yet? What ever the value is after x is always the same except for the sign. So if its x-7, it becomes x = 7. X + 13 becomes x = -13.

im not cheating on my homework

I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause offence :). I'm new on this website. And that's not cheating, if you attempt a question and don't obtain the correct answer through trial and only wish to see your mistake by checking the solution, it is not cheating.
