BIDMAS 1) First evaluate any expressions inside Brackets. 2) Next Evaluate any Expressions that have an index associated with them. 3) The third step is to perform any multiplication and division 4) The Last step is to compete any addition or subtractions that are left. BIDMAS above is a shorthand for this order.
