help me please.. im not sure how to construct a tree diagram ..for this Problem...A mini license plate for a toy car must consist of a two letters followed by a one digit odd number. Each letter must be a J or a Z. Repetition of letters is permitted.

yes, you seem to have got the hang of it. Just make sure that you cover all the combinations :D

There aill be more than 3 branches from the letters though as it asks for single digit odd numbers, 1,3,5,7,9

so that would be my 2nd line from 1, 3 line down 1,3 5, 7.9 and then another line down 11, 13,15,17 19

I will upload a rough picture of what I mean. But I believe its only single digit odds 1-9 as abouve so 11, 13, 15 are double digit odds...

yep because you need to show all the possible routes to making the plate. I didnt put then in but all 4 letters need all five numbers so you will have 4 sets of numbers in total.
