In MVC Design pattern Where to place database and database connection, whether it come under Model or otherwise consider as separate entity.

I don't think so you need put in anything for connection.Your model will find wen to connect ,controller will decide it. . .All database stuffs should be at model side. But to create database tables etc you will find in migrations in rails but in Django you will find in models. . .It depends on mvc framework,how much they adhere.
