jenelle has to figure out the area of her square garage she knows that one side of the garage is equal to the length of her rabbit pen. The dimensions of the the rectangular are 13 by 10 what is the area of the garage

The length of the garage must be 13 as it is the longest length and you can't fit a 13 (cal it foot for now as you gave no units) foot pen into a 10 foot garage. Therefore the area of the garage is 13 x 13 (as it is square) = 169.
