is 10, 12, 22, 32, 42, . . .a geometric or arithmetic sequence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you certain that 10 is the first term?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

yeah something's not right here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe its neither right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From 12 on I'd say +10 so arithmetic. But 10 and 12 doesn't fit...so neither?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is certainly neither. It would be arithmetic (adding 10 each time) except for that first term.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!
