eliminate z 4x-y+z=6 3x+2y-z=0 4x-y-3z=2

Move the z in the 2nd equation to the other side to the equals, then substitute it into the other 2 equations.

OpenStudy (tad1):

Multipy equation one by 3. then add that equation to equation 3. Also add eq 1 to eq 2. the result will be two equations in which z has been eliminated.
