When did WW2 start?
September 1, 1939 to September 2, 1945.
OK thatnks
akamerc is right... ni looked it up online it is September 1, 1939 to September 2, 1945.
Well define WW2, there are arguments that if you count the invasion of Poland [in which the rest of the world didn't fight] it starts in 1939, but why start there? You could say the second Sino-Japanese war started WW2 [Invasion of China by Japan 1937], but why start there when you could start at the Spanish civil war [1936], there where more open hostiles than Poland [American, German, British, Italian and Russian troops participated in it], but why not start at Second Italo-Abyssinian War[1935], Italians vs Ethiopians which if you look at the disparity of forces is about the same as claiming Germany vs Poland. All this aside, if you are in college the above may impress your teacher, if in highschool parrot "Invasion of Poland September 1939"
On a really bad day.
