Among the Allies, who faced a two-front war England,France,Germany,Russia or the United States?

The United States fought in Europe and in the Pacific. Great Britain fought in France in 1940, North Africa and in Asia. In 1944 Great Britain again fought in Europe. Germany fought on two fronts in France from 1944 and the Soviet Union up until then Germany fought on one front.

United States is the answer highschool teachers look for, if you wish to get technical Russia, France, and England also fought on multiple fronts [Mostly pacific and colonial fighting (India for example)] Germany of course is wrong, because it isn't apart of the allies

To add to Meta's reply. High school teachers may or may not wish to look for the United States as the answer, but we are dealing with history as it is acknowledged in the accademic world and as such it was not only the US who foughtr on two fronts.
