My problem is attached, thanks!

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

no, it isnt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how to do this; I have been attempting it multiple times, I just seem to be doing something wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so wrong...

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

A

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

546mm3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well how did you do it, and we will find out you did it wrong :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

lol, no. im right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I like confidence!

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

volume of cuboid = 5 x 6 x 11= 330 mm^3 now tricky part the transversal cylinder area of base 1/2 pi (2)^2 = 6.28 mm ^2 height = 11 vol of cylinder = 6.28 x 11 = 69.11 mm ^3 330 + 69.11= 399.11 mm^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, youre area of a circle is incorrect, plus its best if you find the area of the cylinder THEN divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want pi*r^2 which is pi*(2.5)^2 then multiply by 11 and divide by 2

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

excuse me, my I found the volue of the semi cylinder. :P

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

its 215mm3

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

wait the radius is 2.5 not 2 so area of base = 1/2 pi (2.5 )^2 9.8 is the base area 9.8 x 11 = 107 .99 330 + 107.99= 437.99 = 438

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bingo

OpenStudy (asadkarim7):

D

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its D...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry Khan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

fan me bro :D
