I've recently discovered a great website that can aid in learning pretty much any language you can think of. it's called memrise.com, and runs through using mnemonics. I am currently using it to study czech, and I have seen that the french section is quite popular and full of good mnemonics. I speak several languages myself, including french, and wish that a site like this had been around back when I began studying it. I've also checked out many other websites that propose to help with language learning, but so far not found anything anywhere nearly as good as memrise.. hope this helps you (I have no affiliation with the website,, it is free, useful and I am registered there purely to learn).

Of course, you will need to find a pattern for learning off line too, as there is only so much any website can do for you.
