Which IM client and also Operating System would you prefer to use?

Ubuntu os, i guess it supports good features and also provides the inbuilt IM "Empathy" so i like using that..

in choosing a im u wanna look at the most popular and most common. I would say msn or yahoo. and well with OS..most popular is windows, which i am using but ubuntu and mac is still my preferences
