solve then graph y-8>-15. y=(15)?
\[y -8>-15 y =15??????? \] wats tat
yea i have the answer as y=15
sorry its confusing i put my answer in there .
the problem is y-8>-15. the answer I got was 15. i dont know if that is right.
y>-7
the way i worked it was y-8>-15 y-8+8.-15+8 Y=7 oh wait im wrong lol
gosh i need to work on the simple subtraction
its -7 then. thanks
look y-8+8>-15+8 y>-7
yes thanks you. now the tricky part i have trouble with is graphing it. its on a number line
wat grade are you
soph. in college lol i rush through my work and i end up making small mistakes
i know if it is part of the solution the circle closed and it is not then it is open, but the arrow either points to the left or the right. make sence?
wait im telling you sooo wrong.
wat happened
i have to graph the answer as well. the options they give me is a number line.
hahahaha
whats so funny?
tat u forgot abt the graph
oh i didnt forget its just hard to explain how the number line is. ill do the best i can. the line starts at 7 and it either goes to the right or the left but at the start of the line it will either have a bracket or a parenthesses symbol
wat subject is this for
algebra its my first math class
the region is beyong y=-7
this line is a line beyond y=-7 on y axis parallel to x axis
so would it go to the left or right of -7 and would it end in a parenthesess or a bracket?
this line is parallel to x axis y=-7 ... u get tat
the region shld be above or below
-9 -8 - 7 -6 - 5 <------)
thats the best way i can show you lol i have four different ones to choose from
wait
u there
