\[y \ge-5 x \ge6\] graph the system of inequalities

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you be more specific about what you need help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those are suppose to be seperate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im suppose to graph the system of inequalities

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but what are you having trouble with. We can't exactly graph it for you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y \ge-5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not for sure how to graph them is the thing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well....you should really go to the book and see some examples, but in general, if it's a system, then you can just graph each inequality separately and then find the area where they agree and color that area in, or graph it again on another piece of paper. But I can't be 100% sure that that is what your book means

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea the book is complicated also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's often a problem with math textbooks. Ultimately it is very difficult to write a math textbook, but believe me that if you give it some time and just read the examples a few times over you'll start to understand what they are doing and why. Just keep trying to relate it to the specific problem you are trying to solve. Math is just one of those subjects that really needs time and patience

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea it does. thanks for the help
