Every connection has a specific bandwidth and it can't be exceeded with software. If you are supposed to be getting faster downloads because you pay for higher speeds, I suggest contacting your ISP.

yeah Linux is the way :D, but I had a problem re-installing base-system of Ubuntu to upgrade to 11.04 beta to 11.04 full, to fix network adapter (external) problems and have the ui again! Suddenly dissapear from the beta, when I did something, not sure what it was, anyways, I used the alternative iso from ubuntu 11.04 to rescue it, after that base-system install, which suppose to just install the linux system files and leave the software and partitions you had there, probably it did, but when I boot up in it, it just shows me a deformed lines and srtings of colors and just stays at it like forever... Planning to just re-install the whole thing again, format, and then install the whole again to fix this issue... Just saying...

I put UBUNTU in an USB using Universal USB Installer, it works well, the problem is not installation, but rather now, the wifi adapter (external) it is reconized, like normally would happen, but when connect to network/internet using ff or using the ubuntu software center or even the terminal to get software on, it is like not working, it hangs there, and then says that is not connected or it has been passed timeout -.- even tho the adapter works just fine with Windows 7, in my other partition... anyway it is a device compability problem, I already installed ubuntu 10.04.2 (LTS) works, but currently have this sittuation, I just leave it as is and work in w7, try later to figure out how to work out the awifi adapter problem :)
