Self-Assessment: Structure of the Atom Post-Mortem. First of all, I basically got Test #1, Problem #4 correct, but in the help session video, the Madelung constant (1.386) and the following (unnamed) equation were mentioned:\[E(r_0)=\frac{Z^+Z^-e^2}{4\pi\epsilon_0r_0}\bigg(1-\frac{1}{n}\bigg)\]Where were these covered in lectures 1 ~ 7 or the reading material? Did I miss something? My biggest gripe... what is up with the Test #2, Problem #2 page? Were the following things covered in lectures 1 ~ 7?\[K_\alpha \hspace{12pt} K_\beta \hspace{12pt} L_\alpha \hspace{12pt} \theta_{hkl}\]If so, wh

...(continued)... If so, where? The help video mentions lecture #17! I certainly don't remember the following things from the first seven lectures: 1) Emission Line Names (although K, L, M... were mentioned) 2) Moseley's Law 3) Bragg's Law (I vaguely recall either reading about this, may have been the lecture) 4) Bremsstrahlung radiation 5) Reflection rules (Probably prerequisite material for the course) I got to the last page, read the problems and was completely unfamiliar with the terms, so I left the page blank. If I was totally asleep at the wheel, where was this stuff covered in the lectures and reading material? If it was not covered, is something broken?
