Write the equation whose roots are: 0.5, 1, -1, 2i

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x-0.5)(x-1)(x+1)(x-2i)=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not quite, or something is missing. You cannot have a complex root without its complex conjugate root as well. Therefore, if nothing else, the answer would be \[(x-0.5)(x-1)(x+1)(x-2i)(x+2i)\]

oh correct, i missed it, thanks:)
