attach file ,I need help 34) subtitution d = 30 , b =25 35) subtitution C=302 , T=20, I= do not solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(\frac{\frac{302}{3759}-0.3}{0.2}+\frac{\frac{565}{3759}-3}{4}+\frac{\frac{20}{3759}}{0.05}+\frac{0.095-\frac{302}{3759}}{0.04})\times\frac{100}{6}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need check 35 I subtitution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand what you are asking for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

number 34 subtitution d= 30 ,b = 25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b is body weight in kilograms, so kilograms is key, and in the problem the patient weighs 25 kilograms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

35 the number I subtitution ,I need some one check am I correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

34 think I know,I need help 35

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the beginning do 302/565.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He attempted 565 passes for 3759 yards

OpenStudy (anonymous):

35) C=320 A=3759 I=565 T=20 Y=12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C=302 A=565 I=12 T=20 Y=3759

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"A is the number of passes attempted" then it says in the paragraph: "He complete 302 of the *565 passes he attempted* for 3759 yards."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He attempted 565 passes, and only 302 of those were completed...those that were completed gave him 3759 yards. Do you know anything about football? It's okay if you don't. I don't know why they expect math students to know sports.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm a girl I no idea football,ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As a general strategy to these problems look for the key word that defines the variable. So I=interceptions; "interceptions" is the key word. Then don't even read the paragraph, just look for that key word or something very similar to it, and look to see what number they are assigning that key word to. In the paragraph it just says "12 interceptions". That's it, don't even waste your time with trying to understand all the unnecessary junk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A I think 3759

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's look at the sentence: "....completed 302 of the *565 passes he attempted* for 3759 yards"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is your native language?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A= 565 or A= 3759 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

chiness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhh. Ni hao. Wo de putonghua hen bu hao

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but I'm in state

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think your problem is math. You're much too smart to not see what I just told you. It's the structure of the silly English language that is making it difficult.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait I was wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're right! It is, because he completed 302 out of the total of 565 attempted passes. He attempted 565 passes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

35) C=320 A=565 I=12 T=20 Y=3759 ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My pleasure!
