WW2 In Germany, the first group to support Hitler and the Nazis was: the working class, middle class, or the upper class?

OpenStudy (nikita2):

actually it was the upper class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In reality it was the working and middle classes. The working classes were given work and food, the middle classes benefitted fro the rearmament program and increased prosperity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The working classes was the first group of people in Germany to support both Hitler's campaign and his Nazi regime because they wanted to have equal wages as the upper and middle classes. This policy known as a socialist dictatorship sounded like a good plan to the working class.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was the middle class....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Nazi party started as the National Socialist Workers Party. Logically, the upper class would have very little reason to support Hitler's promises of prosperity, as they were already living in it (relatively). Germany was poor, the lower class was suffering and clung to the man who promised to make things better.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It can only be the middle class and the working class because in Hitlers time, he has done many campaigns that provided German people jobs and because of this, the country was flourishing.
