wild cards in cs =>Certain time you don't know how many times a character is present in a word/sentence or want to search with startswith 'an' but length of the word doesn't matter,so times when you are not exact size or characters or alpha bets ,at that time wild card comes to rescue.

wild card in sql: '%' i.e:

words in column = (jerry, ferry, marry, mary, john)

search for: %rr%
results-> jerry, ferry, marry

search for: j%
result-> jerry, john

search for: a%
result: ->

search for: %n
result-> john


*notice 'a%' has not result!
