The First Law simply states that an object at rest will stay at rest unless a force is acted upon it and an object that is in motion will stay in motion until a force is acted upon it. The Second Law of motion deals with the force equation: F=ma (m=mass, a=acceleration). The Third Law states that every action has an equal or opposite reaction.
