subtract 4 both sides. Then divide both sides by -3, But that will also result in the inversion of '>' sign

Alternatively you can just move the -3x to the other side of the inequality by adding 3x to both sides and subtracting the 11 from both sides. Then you don't have to remember the rule about dividing/multiplying by a negative.
