does anybody know how to do intersecting chord Theorem

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the ends multiply to equal each other I believe

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if AB is crossed by CD at the point M; then AM*MB = CM*MD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how do u find the side?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

"side" tells me nothing. Is there a problem I could work thru? I aint good at mind reading yet ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay how would i find AM and MB

OpenStudy (amistre64):

They would have to give you more information than just the name of he lines. Without the information to compute, its just theory and conjecture :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i have a circle and one side is blue the other is red and its a line that goes all the way down and it says 90 degrees and i have to find XY

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good try there :) Is the picture on your computer or in a book? If its in a book can you scan it and attach it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its on the computer but it wont let me copy it.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, it wont let you copy it directly; but you can take a screenshot by pressing your "PrntScrn" key that never gets used :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

like this :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hit the "Prnt Scr" key; open a paint program; paste it, save it; and attach it ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i push shift?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

not shift :) It usually over there with the scroll lock and pause and f12 keys
