if BC=5.3 CD=8.8 and AD=14.3 find AB to the nearest tenth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the distance from B to C is 5.3 and the distance from C to D is 8.8, then the distance from B to D is 14.1 So if AD = 14.3 and BD = 14.1, how far is it from A to B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8.6
