How many years do you recommend for proyections?

5 or 10 years projections depending on the growth of the company.

I've personally never seen more than 5 used in industry.

It depends on the kind of industry you´re talking about. If is an infrastructure company you will probably need something around 15 to 30 years. However, for an internet business, more than 5 years may be too much.
