in case of an inductor,when current decreases how the self induced emf is reversed

The falling current causes the magnetic field to decrease (changing flux) in each loop of the inductor. This changing flux gives rise to an emf (Faraday's Law) which gives rise to a current in a direction which will oppose the change in magnetic field (Lenz's Law).
