Blood: carries oxygen from lungs to tissues and carbon di oxide from tissue back to lung. Blood carries nutrients(carbohydrates, amino-acids, vitamins etc )from the site of absorption(intestine) to cells/tissues Blood carries waste products of cellular metabolism(urea) to kidney , and other products to liver for detoxification and excretion. Blood carries hormones from endocrine glands to their site of action. As a whole BLOOD maintains life. Give blood ...........give life..........
