6x – 3 = 3x – 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Same idea as a previous problem. Move the 3x to the left (combine with the 6x) and the -3 to the right (combine with the -9). Divide both sides by the coefficient of x.

x=-2!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"move" means 1) subtract 3x from both sides 2)add 3 to both sides 3) divide both sides by 3
