 8 men -----  1 day --------- 50 fet
 1 man ------ 1 day -------- 50/8 feet
 3 men ------ 1 day -------- 3* 50/8 means 150/8
  3 men------ (if took 8 days)--  then 150 feet

What prashant said. If it takes 8 men 2 days to lay 100 feet, then they could lay 50 feet in 1 day, and each could lay 50/8 in a day. Three men could lay 150/8 in a day. So to lay 150 feet, it would take 3 men 8 days.
