Using long division... We have to first put the divisor in standard form as I hv done.. 3x + 4 ------------------- 2x + 5| 6x^2 + 23x + 20 -6x^2 - 15x --------------------- 8x + 20 -8x - 20 -------------- 0 -------------- so quotient is 3x+4
