Three individuals form a partnership and agree to divide the profits equally. X invests $9000, Y invests $7000, Z invests $4000. If the profits are $4,800, how much less does x receive compared to having the profits divided in proportion to the amounts invested by X,Y, and Z? Please explain?

The total amount invested os 20 K. So X invests 9/20 of that total. Under thr proportional plan X gets 9/20 of the profits, 2,160. Under the equal share plan X a third the profits, $1,600. He gets $560 less than he would under the proportional plan.
