How do you find area when you have the circumfrence?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

find the radius 1st

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

then use that radius to find its area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use pi r^2 to find the area

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

to find the radius 1st: use this form: C = pi d/2 this will give u the radius

myininaya (myininaya):

C=2*pi*r A=pi*r^2=2*1/2*pi*r*r=1/2*r*2*pi*r=1/2*r*C so once you have circumference you need to find r to find area
